French colonists in Africa, several months behind in the news, find themselves at war with their German neighbors. Deciding that they must do their proper duty and fight the Germans, they promptly conscript the local native population. 'Hilversum in Black and White' is a production of the Hilversum Historical Circle Albertus Perk for the occasion of Hilversum's six-hundredth anniversary. They previously produced "Hilversum Occupied and Liberated, 1940-1945."
