LateLine Season 2
LateLine is an American TV sitcom that ran on NBC from March 17, 1998, through March 16, 1999. Due to an abrupt cancellation, there were seven unaired episodes. Created by John Markus and Al Franken, LateLine depicted the behind-the-scenes goings-on of a fictitious late-night television news broadcast, patterned in part after the long-running ABC program Nightline. Many plotlines in the series were satirical, dealing with topics like Deep Throat and the Watergate break-in, and the episodes often had cameos by famous politicians. On August 17, 2004, Paramount released a DVD set containing all nineteen episodes on three discs.

When Vic goes out on a date, Gale is left to produce the show. Her first show as a producer goes horribly wrong when Pearce decides he doesn't want to do the show.

Pearce's ex-mistress starts having an affair with Raji to make Pearce mad. Raji and the rest of the crew try to keep this a secret.

Trying to blow the cover of an illegal gun salesman, Al and Raji go undercover by trying to buy guns. Meanwhile, Vic's daughter lets slip that her father has a crush on Gale.

Raji promisses to bring his African friend as a guest on the show but, when his friend doesn't come, Raji gets fired. The new intern is a girl who has a crush on Al. When the two kiss, Al remembers he is married...
